Pupils at Staveley are issued with individual email addresses. This enables them to communicate with one another and with staff. The addresses provided to pupils are of the pattern name@pupil.staveley.cumbria.sch.uk. They are domian restricted which means they can only send to and receive from email address that have the '.sch' element. This means that pupils can only communicate with pupils in other schools.
