SLOW BROADBAND AT HOME? Read this:
The Upper Kent Local Area Partnership is currently organising a broadband survey to help determine how accessible the internet is across the partnership area and consider what might be done as a result. As many people as possible are encouraged to contribute to the survey so that a good local picture can be gathered which should provide useful evidence for further action. The deadline for completion of the survey is now 17th Feb but even if this has expired by the time you read this, do access the survey as there is a good chance that the deadline will be extended. Anyone wishing to have a paper copy of the survey should contact the Parish Council Chairman on 01539 821719. BONFIRE NIGHT : Please take care and follow the Firework code.
Read the poem below written by Class 2
Bonfire Night
In the night-time darkness,
In the night-time cold,
Did you see a rocket
Explode in showers of sparkles?
Did you hear children in the crowd
Cheering very loud?
Did you smell the smoke
From the burning bonfire?
Did you taste the toffee apple
Sticking to your teeth?
Did you touch the marshmallow
Melting on the stick?
In the night-time darkness
In the night-time cold.
