On Thursday lunchtimes, Shanthi and Mrs Stringer enjoy sharing stories from the Bible, discussing what they mean to them and making creative projects to remember what they have learnt.
Proverbs 22:6 Teach children how they should live, and they will remember it all their life.
This week, the children looked at the parable of the sower and talked about ‘what good is food if you can’t eat it and what good is God’s word if you don’t do something about it when you hear it?’ The children heard the story, thought about what it meant and honestly shared which type of soil they were and which they would like to be. They used a work sheet and bible passages to see what God’s word is useful for. The session was linked to our school worship about making good choices.
