Night night everyone from the Herdies 😴

It might have rained all day but this hasn’t stopped our mighty Herdies enjoying their residential. They have done a range of Bushcraft activities and made their shelters for tonight (hopefully they are water tight!) Dinner eaten too. Soon be time for bed and hopefully a drier Friday! Well done children and staff too! 🌧️

The rain will not dampen this lots spirits! They have arrived safely and excited for their adventures.

Thank you so much to Sheila who comes in to hear readers on Tuesday afternoons. This week she brought in a game called 24 (she loves maths like we do!) and the whole class played. You had to make 24 using all the numbers on the card and be the first to get it right. It got quite heated but we loved it! 2️⃣4️⃣

Thank you so much to Healthy Hearts for visiting Year 5 & 6 yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about how amazing our hearts are and how we can make healthy choices to look after them. Look out for our posters which let people know how to keep their hearts healthy too! ❤️ @british_heart_foundation

Little Lambs Playgroup starts again on Thursday 4th June with a new start time of 9.30am. The first part of the session will be outside so come prepared for the weather - ☀️ ☔️ 💨

A super busy half term at Staveley CE Primary School. Lots of time outside - come rain ☔️ or shine ☀️ Sports - cricket, pickleball, bowling, skiing. Science, Music, Geography, Art, DT, PE to name a few subjects we cover. Visitors, experiences and just enjoying time together and in our local community. Today has been the final day that Jacob class have been learning all about bees. They have loved making clay bees and finding out some interesting facts. Did you know there are over 25,000 species of bee? We managed to find 4 different ones in our playground whilst on a bee hunt today. What a great finish to the half term!
