A fantastic golf club session to start the week! Today we practised our putting skills and had our own mini competition to see if anyone could hit below par! Thank you to @adamlynn_pga and Kyle from @carusgreengolfclub for coming to help us master our golf ⛳️🏌️

Jacob and Swaledale classes had a gorgeous afternoon walking up Reston Scar. The children listened to chaffinches, meadow pipits, doves and watched red admirals and painted lady butterflies chasing each other across the open land. They saw swifts and house martins flying overhead and watched planes zooming by. Everyone took the time to have mindful moments and really appreciate where we live and how lucky we are to go to school in such a breathtaking area.

To celebrate Sir David Attenborough‘s 100th birthday Jacob Class have been pond dipping, seed planting, planting our oak sapling, creating paper plate worlds and having a bug bingo tea party with cake and hot chocolate. Another sunny bowling session at Staveley bowling club. Herdwicks love their Friday afternoon outing!

This morning, Herdwicks enjoyed taking their maths outside as we explored the difference between capacity and volume as well as perfecting our measuring skills. #welovemaths

We’ve had a great day outdoors today, we’ve been learning how to put our bike helmets on properly, use our balance bikes, play tennis in PE and spot a squirrel when taking a 5 minute break! What a fun day of learning.
