Jacob class had a brilliant time going on the train to visit Booths supermarket in Windermere. The children asked some thoughtful questions and learned about where different foods come from. We can’t wait to plot these countries on our world map. We also learned that cheese comes from milk and which animals produce which meat. A fantastic afternoon, thank you Booths!

We didn’t let the weather stop us in gardening club tonight, we used last years pressed flowers from our lovely school garden to create two beautiful abstract pieces of art. The children also produced some gorgeous observational paintings and created their own wonderful garden and flower pictures.

In week 3 of sewing club we finished our patchwork before next week our cushions come to life! 🪡It’s lovely to see everyone so focused and enthusiastic about sewing, whilst watching them grow in confidence and skill! 🧵👏
